How did you get into wellness, both personally and professionally?

What started as a personal journey of healing became a deep respect for wellness as a whole. Survival became a passion and I now get the opportunity to steward others on their own journey.

What attracted you to nursing as a career? And what do you enjoy most about it?

I was drawn to nursing because it is one of the few professions where strength and compassion meet every single day. I've always been a nurturer and wanted to care for people in my career. Nursing has allowed me to step into some of the most vulnerable moments in someone's life and be a steady, calm presence when they need it the most. That responsibility means everything to me.

I love knowing that my skill set can truly make a difference in how people feel. I appreciate the challenge and constant growth of medicine, but it is the trust patients place in me that I value the most.

What excites you most about being part of Level?

The fact that I get to be part of real transformation instead of quick fixes for people. Seeing someone gain confidence, hope, and ownership over their health is so rewarding. My job as a nurse is purpose-driven work that matters so much to me and I’m happy to bring my experience to Level.

What misconceptions about wellness do you wish people understood?

One misconception about wellness is that it’s something you achieve and then maintain flawlessly. In truth, wellness is seasons of strength, seasons of rest, and seasons of rebuilding. It’s less about perfection and more about learning to return to what nourishes your body and mind.
